This is starting to look really interesting. I hope I can get over there at some point by myself to try it out.

There are eight games (three in Adventureland, two in Fantasyland, two in Frontierland/Liberty Square and one on Main Street). Once you've completed all eight you master the level you are on (they are the same games after you master your level, they just get a lot harder and you have to pay more attention than before). You can go to one of the stations (there are two as of now. One on Main Street and one in Liberty Square) and get five new cards to use. You can also get another five the same day if you complete all eight games in the park. I would assume that if you mastered a level twice in the same day (from what I hear, it should take about four hours to master a level), you can get 15 new cards that visit (two new "packs" for mastering your level and one for a next day visit).
How far did you get when you tried it, and how long did it take? It really does sound like a fun thing to try. I hope it is still running when I get there...whenever my next trip might be...

We tried it on Wednesday and got two done before ADRs at Brown Derby (try the duck!). We went back yesterday and got five done (two of mine and three of hers) in less than three hours (longer lines because of Mardi Gras and most of Louisiana is vacationing at WDW because schools out for the week...).

Thanks ~ so it does take some time then. Did you have to wait behind a lot of people while doing it, or could you mostly just walk up and complete your tasks?

The earlier in the day you do it, the fewer people you will have to deal with in front of you. I just did another two today (caught up to my girlfriend with five games done each) in less than 30 minutes.

Is it fun to play? Does it require any skill?

It can get monotonous because all eight games are basically the same. But later on, it'll take longer to defeat whatever character you are facing. Once we both level up, I'll post about how the game changes after that. That won't be until Wednesday or Thursday (or both seeing as this should be available during the 24 hour event).

Thanks for the insight :D Maybe you could include a few photos of the cards that you collect at some point?

Was planning on it but I'll wait until I have more cards, duplicates or otherwise.

Thanks ~ seeing as how it will be a fairly long time until I make it to WDW again :( especially with gas prices  I'd love to see what they look like :D

Figured I'd post some info about all eight games.

Merlin is your guide but other characters are your host for each game. Hades is the main villian, enlisting the help of the other villains (every game he has a different name for Blue)

Main Street - Pongo (translated by Merlin) helps you out against Cruela DeVille

Adventureland - Emperor Kuzco against Yzma. Rafiki against Scar. Genie against Jafar.

Frontierland/Liberty Square - Mama Odie (with appearances by Tiana and Louis) against Dr Facilier (or Shadowman as they call him). Pocahontas against Governor Ratcliffe

Fantasyland - Merryweather (joined later by Flora and Fauna) against Maleficent. Sebastian against Ursula.

Not sure if every game has a smaller battle with a character before the main boss (i.e. Kronk before Yzma, Shadows from "the other side" before Dr. Facilier, etc.).

Any questions not answered here, ask and I'll try and answer as best I can if I know the answer.

I'm still confused but I guess I'll have to play to see what the deal is... I'll have to save that for next weekend, I think, won't have time this weekend.

I'm definitely not bored with the Magic Kingdom, but any new stuff Disney comes up with seems to be worth checking out!!

We're planning on leveling up tonight so we will see if we get to do any of level two tonight. Stay tuned. If not tonight, then definitely tomorrow (night).

I wonder if the rise in those type of activites at WDW has to do partially with how people stay there for 5-7 days? After Kim Possible started at WDW I was expecting them to start popping up here at DLR but it looks like they haven't done anything.
