Noooooooo...one of my favorite rides and it is closed when I am planning my trip?????? Major bummer. I have not been to WDW in 4 years, and I am so sad.

BTM has one of the worst queues at WDW...not sure what they are doing while the ride is down, but anything done to the queue will be a welcomed addition!!

Closed for over four months. They better do something with the queue!!Peerless83 wrote:BTM has one of the worst queues at WDW...not sure what they are doing while the ride is down, but anything done to the queue will be a welcomed addition!!

Are we adding inter-active video games?MadEye wrote:Closed for over four months. They better do something with the queue!!Peerless83 wrote:BTM has one of the worst queues at WDW...not sure what they are doing while the ride is down, but anything done to the queue will be a welcomed addition!!

I'm hoping they don't but anything would be an improvement IMHO.mindflipper wrote:Are we adding inter-active video games?MadEye wrote:Closed for over four months. I wouldn't doubt that they might add something interactive to the queue. They have found success doing that with Winnie the Pooh and Space Mountain...MadEye wrote:I'm hoping they don't but anything would be an improvement IMHO.mindflipper wrote:Are we adding inter-active video games?

That would be a good idea, adding something interactive to the queue. Going back and forth in the endless line can be mind stripping. And maybe because of the atmosphere of the attraction, it just seems really hot in there!

Yeah, the queue is nuts!!! Hopefully there will be a fix for that. But I have to say, those switchbacks are sure great for creating some mayhem!

Re: Big Thunder Mountain closing for lengthy refurb.
Oh please no more interactive queues. Those make the lines even worse since no one finds it necessary to pay attention to the fact the line is moving.fancyfeet wrote:That would be a good idea, adding something interactive to the queue. UPDATE: Was at the MK today and they are redoing the queue. From the MK Train, you can see that they've demo'd most of the "crazy" portion of the queue and from the front, it seems that they are pushing out the outer walls.

YES. That ride is in DESPERATE need of a new queue. Is that the only major change being made?MadEye wrote:UPDATE: Was at the MK today and they are redoing the queue.
