Honestly from stalking the Fairytale Weddings site there seem to be a lot more options now than just there (I do know when the blessed day arrives, my mom agreed to a World Showcase wedding- those are even more intimate) that are actually better.
Only thing I can think of that they could do is demolish it and rebuild it further out into Seven Seas Lagoon (kinda like what they are doing to make space for the GF DVC).

As for Wedding plans, all I know is that when the day comes, most of us (bride, groom and most guests) will probably be staying at Wilderness Lodge.

I actually like that idea. It might aid in having the castle be more of a backdrop as well if it got pushed out further.

I would think one of the other Disney venues would be a little nicer than the wedding pavilion ~ especially now...

Wow! I can't see how they have room for that! Now I understand the upset posts about the view from the wedding pavilion. Thanks for answering my question Amy.

The only two places I will ever need to be are Manhattan and Disney World.

Not when they are extending the solid land that they will build on into the Seven Seas Lagoon.

As for the construction that started this thread, drove by it in my car and saw it from the Monorail and nothing is there to show any construction is happening besides one of those yellow things that (I think) helps keep anything besides water through to the area near the work.

They are probably just clearing the land. It was becoming quite overgrown and haggard looking.
