I wish World Showcase had rotating coutries represented. I would ove to look forward to new and exciting countries each new visit and have a new country each year so we (the yearly Disney visitors) could see something new each year. IMO each park should have at least 1 new exibit/ride/show each year. That would really make things interesting.

At WDW, part of the reason you don't get updates as frequently as DLR (which is mostly annualy, but a lot smaller than what was going on last year) is due to the frequency of guest returns. Here, we get people going multiple times a year since they are locals, but WDW is more of a time suck, and requires hotel stays, airfare, etc.

Sure that is a reason but the main reason is how TDO has changed. The main thing TDO wants from WDW is a profit. If that means a cut in quality of already existing things and budget for new things, then so be it.

Guests complain all the time about prices of everything at WDW but they still keep coming and paying those prices to be there.
We are all a little weird
And life's a little weird,
And when we find someone whose
Weirdness is compatible with ours,
We join up with them and fall in
Mutual weirdness and call it Love.”

Yup, I believe Wizzard mentioned it already, but both attractions use the same ride vehicles...Indy just seems much cooler with all the fire  and no Dinosaur burps
I believe it's actually the same track set up, too, isn't it?

As opposed to before when they did it out of the goodness of their hearts with no worries about cost? They have always been in it for profit, even walt was in it to stack paper. You can't simply state that it is the company's fault that things cost more and you don't get new rides every year. They have to look at things logically and see that people don't return as fast. Plus operating costs have gone up and material/labor costs have also gone up, with no signs of coming down.
