Hmm, Mousekedude, sounds like you need to learn to take notes about your trip on your iphone like Amy did...

... I do like being able to post my check-ins on Facebook. That helps. I also do notes on the iPhone.

Mousekedude wrote:Hey, guys! We're home now, trying to rest up after all our exertions. I want to thank you all for your kind comments, and I also want to say that it was truly an honor and a pleasure to finally meet all of you whom we met for the first time on this trip. As for our trip report... well, it's going to be interesting this time. In the past, I've relied upon my pictures to remind me of each day's events (we usually had our cameras with us and took tons of pictures each day...). But this time we didn't carry our camera around the whole time. We just decided to spend our time soaking in each moment and enjoying ourselves instead of stressing about how to document each moment (know what I mean...?), so as a consequence we will not be able to do a "day-by-day" report like we've done in the past. Instead, we'll only be able to post comments and pictures of various situations and events as we remember them... in no particular order. Hopefully our fellow M.M's will be able to fill in the blanks. So stay tuned for some posts on our adventures as we manage to make time for them. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Oh, to walk around and soak everything in without taking pictures! That would be so nice...but sheer torture for me! I swore after I traveled with nothing on a trip on the morning we were leaving and I left everything with luggage services and then got stuck on Peter Pan and they turned the lights on

and I had no camera

that I would never not have at least my camera with me...big breath!! But, I'm glad you were able to do that ~ we'll take what we get

Hopefully someone has some photos of the group though. I haven't seen very many yet

My photos of the meet-up on Saturday night didn't turn out well (used the camera in my camcorder, not my regular camera - I was trying to go "lite" that night myself). If anyone does have some photos, please PM me. I will send you my e-mail address and you can send them to me. Then I can upload them and post them to Subsonic. Thanks.

To put your minds at ease... yes, we do have photos of the big Poly Dole Whip meet-up at least, including a group photo. Please be patient and eventually we'll get around to posting those.

Remember, the Mousekecouple had been there for more than a week, so being back in Houston is a heart-wrenching return back to reality (and it can kinda suck)...

Yeah, we were actually there for 12 days, so it's kind of a shock to be back in "reality." We have a lot of catching up to do around here, but we'll get some stuff posted soon.

Yes and what else sucks is there's no one to go to the parks with now... it's a drag!

Here's a little teaser to start our trip report: video of Boilerbabe doing the famous Dole Whip Dance. The video is in two parts. Just click on the pics and it will take you right to the videos.
Enjoy!

We are sad that we didn't get to experience that in person...

Love it! That is pure happiness captured on video there

P.S. Thanks for letting me know it was a video and to click on it. That saved me having to ask an embarrassing question
