Not really the subject for this thread, but I didn't think we needed to create a whole other thread for this.

Here are the fireworks from the Magic Kingdom for the New Years Eve celebration... Look closely and you see the countdown IN the fireworks themselves!

And here is EPCOT's show:

Ugh... Trust me Amy. I was over those things by about 6:30pm and they didn't hand them out until 6pm! So annoying to have people blow those things as hard as possible in your face as they walked by.

Oh yes forgot to warn you about those little beasties I was irked by them to. Some big hulking man was very happily tooting his horn loudly in my ears while standing in a queue until I could take it no longer, so I quite loudly stated to Joe "really I expect that from an 8 year old but grown adults should know better" soon stopped after that.

You were lucky. He could have been sadistic and started blowing it harder or closer to you  I don't even think my ear plugs would have been a match for those horns!

Yes I guess I was but he couldn't have been any louder or closer to me he was two people back. There were other people in the queue tooting their horns but this guy was on a mission. Being a teacher you know its not what you say but how you say it, tone is everything and back then I still had a fairly hard Irish accent so maybe that was it.

Would I do it now? The answer is no way.
