That's great news b-babe! Just be sure not to over do it between now and then. I agree, I think you and your Mom were meant to "race" together

Re: 2012 WDW Marathon Weekend
I got my bib #...it's 99,999...I guess that's where they think I am going to finish...? Lol j/k
Its something like 47,000 or some such. I will let everyone know so they can follow all of us subsonic'ers if they want. I am glad to hear BBabe is healing, ever so slowly
. I really hope you can join us, even if you walk/run or whatever it takes.
regardless of who races and who finishes when, I really look forward to everyone being there..healthy !!...and live, in person...
Let the Mayhem begin...in less than 3 weeks!

Last long long run complete...time to throttle back. I feel great! I am ready!!
Cccmouse: what time are you thinking you will come in? So I know where to look for you? I am only competing in the half...
I should come in between 2:20 and 2:30.
My bib #: 47365

My Wine and Dine time for the half back in October was 1:58.45. I would like to beat that, but I would be happy with anything right around 2 hours.wewantsdaredhead wrote:Last long long run complete...time to throttle back. I feel great! I am ready!!

I hope that we are able to get the SSR runners together before the race for a picture if we can set up a meeting time and place.

You'll be fully rested by the time I stumble in there. A pic with everyone would be a great idea. And we can include anyone that doesnt run but is willing to have a cooler full of cold beer at the end...hint hint....

Re: 2012 WDW Marathon Weekend
I didn't even realize we could get our bib #'s?! I will have to look ours up!
My run yesterday did not go that great, was having some pain in my leg. Will try again tomorrow, I will cross that finish line even if my leg falls off! My dad's training is right on, he's up to 10 miles, no problem. Now if I could only be more like him!!!!
Glad you're on track wewantsdaredhead! My time from '05 was 2:14:04, had originally wanted to beat that, but I think is out the window at this point in time....just crossing the finish will be great. I think my cousin is looking to PR. I'm all about beers around the World after the run!
Would love to get a picture with everyone if we could somehow arrange that?!?!
Good luck to all!!!
Update: my bib for the 1/2: 34399
5K: 347, B-dude: 345

M-dude - Go to the rundisney.com website. Click on the Event Info tab for the Marathon Weekend. Look under the bulletin board tab and you will see the link to download the race waiver. This will have your bib number listed.Mousekedude wrote:How in the world is everyone getting their bib numbers already????!!!! I thought we had to show up for orientation first! I'm such a moron.... I already had it! It was on the waiver I printed out, like, two weeks ago!
Okay, now that I've made an idiot out of myself....
My bib number for the 5K is 2321, and Mouseoholic's is 2322.

Re: 2012 WDW Marathon Weekend
I just went and looked at the spectator page. They have it listed as you have to search for the runner by name instead of bib number
That is different from any other race I have followed people in...anyone know if there is a place to input bib numbers instead?
This is where I went... http://www.xacte.com/templates/disney/marathon/
