I dunno, Amy - according to some photos, I could be a cross between TV Texas Ranger and a Christmas-loving skeleton...

If I had remembered to snap a quick photo on Splash Mountain, we could include pocket-sized Transformer to that mash-up  ;)

Good thing you didn't perhaps. If your camera isn't waterproof, it could have gotten ruined from that drenching splash that got you and Mousekedude...

Careful, Mindflipper. We still have plenty of pics showing what you really look like. We agreed not to post them, and will continue to abide by that agreement, but... (in my best Chicago mobster voice...) "it'd be a shame if a picture of youse was to accidentally get posted...."

Whoo Hooo... A first for me... I will be at WDW for New Years! I'm probably crazy, but I can't think of a better place to bring in the new year! Staying @ Caribbean Beach... Since it was basically all that was left!

Not sure Amy. Looks like the MK is the only park open until 12am so we may stay clear of it due to the crowds... Not sure. I heard that there was a 70 minute wait for Small World today! Crazy!

Ugh, yeah, one of my piano families went for New Years Eve a few year ago and it was shoulder to shoulder people. I don't think they rode very many attractions that day, but they said the fireworks show was amazing! It must have been worth it because they are heading down there again today! Maybe you can find a spot to watch those outside of the park?
Did you go on Christmas this year mindflipper?

I did it a few years back. Did MK during the day, and we did EPCOT at night with Gary Sinise doing the Candlelight Processional (and we did the package deal for that to ensure the seating). It was a madhouse. Nothing I would want to repeat again. It was bad enough trying to walk through the crowds, but it was far too crowded for a family member dependent upon a scooter for personal transportation. I'm sure F1gment has stories about how park visitors can be a bit rude and oblivious to others in scooters.

Are you sure about that Nacler Epcot is the park that is most known for the New Years Eve celebration. Epcot fills before MK don't ask me why but that was what we were told when we were there for the millennium celebrations, didn't make a hill of beans difference to us we were heading for MK anyway. Glad to see your staying on site though as we stayed off site that year and they were turning people away at the MK gates if you didn't already have tickets and that was 7.30am.

Have a great time and take lots of pics for us.
