You might want to look into that whole "buying a piece of the world" thingie. At the rate you're going, you might be able to stay in hotel wing named after your family  Hope your negotiations are successful to go to the SXI meet-up next week :D Then I know there will be pictures to share!

NaCler wrote:Len, thanks for reading my report and for your replies. I'm only wanting a bus to go from the parks to DTD, not the return trip back to the parks. I do agree that if there was service to the parks from DTD, there would be people taking advantage of the free parking. If there was one way from Parks to DTD, then people would be stuck if they weren't staying at a resort. I like that DTD has everything for you in one shop. There were several things that I saw sold in EPCOT but not anywhere else except for DTD, same for other parks. Plus, most Lego stuff and some VM's you can only get from DTD.

Jib slide... Laying on my back but no arching. I'm a big guy so arching is too much work ;). I had some pretty good speed, so I was very happy. Lost my sunglasses and hat when I hit.

Tebowing... I have a hatless version, but since I'm halfway bald I thought I would spare everyone.
Hmm interesting idea but it would never be able to work as Disney never wants to run empty buses. The current system assigns each park and DTD a set fleet of buses that is responsible for transporting guests between resorts and that destination. By running buses from a park to DTD there will either be empty buses running one way or cause mix up in the assignment quantity.

The jib was running fast this year. I believe it got some maintenance done in the winter that really made you fly.

Finally got all caught up on the trip report! Whew! What a trip!!!! Your photo with the bear who must not be named was hysterical....hubby thought something was wrong because I screamed and was laughing so hard!
I agree with mindflipper, some of those castle pics were kinda eerie...but cool.

As far as the Splash Mountain incident goes, I side with Amy (us gals have to stick together, you know)...NaCler's late night mayhem interfered with the ride mechanism... ;)

So glad you had a blast! We are so looking forward to January!!!!

Has anyone just considered that Splash Mtn broke down by itself and neither NaCler or Amy had anything to do with it...

...I'm glad I wasn't there or I know I would have gotten all the blame (again)....

Wait...I'm to blame because I was more clever than you were to avoid getting soaked??? Sorry, but there's not explicit or implied contract that states by taking the first seat in the log the rider is mandatorily obligated to be the "human shield" for his fellow riders...

There might be a reasonable expectation that if you have a man who is over 6 feet tall in the front row, that he will not fold himself into a postage-sized stamp and tuck himself entirely under the front ledge of the log, thereby creating a impedance free splash zone to the unsuspecting second row... ;)

Well, there does seem to be a lack of photos proving your human-ness ;)
