I think this is really awesome for kids. Something does seem slightly off about his face though, I can't put my finger on it. Maybe the eyes? Not sure how I would react to this Mickey if I saw him myself, but it kind of reminds me of "Turtle Talk" with Crush!

We got our picture taken with Mickey - he evidently pops for speech
Anyhow, he wasn't the blinky Mickey but f1gment said he sort of freaked her out with his kissy sounds

Did you get any video? It'd be interesting to see a video that isn't Disney produced.

No, no. We didn't see the "fancy" Mickey, just the "plain" one at the Disney Visa phot pass. I believe the new one is only at the meet and great in the city hall. Nope, with no children, and no guarantee that the high tech mouse will be there, we aren't going to wait that long. If we're there and there is a 10 minutes wait or so, I'd say we'd try it. If we do, I'll be sure to photo/video document it! I understand what you mean about seeing a "real" videoAmy wrote:We got our picture taken with Mickey - he evidently pops for speechAnyhow, he wasn't the blinky Mickey but f1gment said he sort of freaked her out with his kissy sounds

We should have checked this out last night, Amy. They had a FastPass for it.

So let me get this straight Amy...you were at the Visa Meet n Greet and you saw the Mouse?!?!?! Every time we go, with the exception of our first visit, we always get Minnie and Goofy, we were beginning to think those were the only characters they put there anymore?!
And you have to have a FP for the Mickey meet in MK now?! Or did I not understand that correctly?

BB - You don't HAVE to have a Fast Pass for Mickey, but if you are not there at rope drop or late in the day, you will probably wait around an hour to see him.

From what I heard the character FP do not affect the ride FP...so I'd say it's worth it to get it.
