You didn't sue your parents?? Amy I didn't realize how un-American you are!!Amy wrote:Very likely true Wizzard, but the sad fact is that people in this country have become very litigious, and don't seem to accept any responsibility for their own actions anymore![]()
When we fell off our bikes when we were little, we didn't sue the bicycle manufacturer, the helmet manufacturer (ok, we didn't wear helmets back then), the street department and the brand of tennis shoes we happened to be wearing at the time that the shoelaces came undone and wrapped around the spokesFor that matter, we didn't blame our parents when we stubbed our toe really bad because we rode barefoot (or with flip flops) after we were told to put on shoes. We came in, dried off our tears, put a band-aid on our toe and went back outside to play.
Some people just barge ahead in life and if they do stupid things, expect others to pay for those lapses in judgment.
That's the most "AMAZING" double talk!! You sir/madame must have the most amazing practice!! Remember it's not about the truth...it's about the "CASH"!!Wizzard419 wrote:Actually, a judge will throw out a suit if it is clear that the individual was fully to blame.
I know we say that "someone must have done something" for a sticker to be added, but it is entirely possible that someone took a look at all the possible risks and said "that should go on there as a warning".
And they ask how did OWS got started?? LET'S START THE REVOLUTION!!! THE MORE VIOLENT THE BETTER!! BLOOD NEEDS TO RUN THROUGH THE STREETS!! EAT THE RICH!!!!!!!!!!!! Remember Jacques-Pierre Brisso!!!Wizzard419 wrote:Cash is always king, your purse always says so.
OY!! It sounds like the Big Brother OWS!!Wizzard419 wrote:The funny thing is there is a local OWS thing here, unlike all the other ones noted, this one is only a couple of hours on a saturday and no one camps out for it. The targets of the protest are closed and the only people to rage against are the security guards and janitors.
I don't know how you escaped Len's wrath on this comment, but I'm going to point it out again in case he missed it.Wizzard419 wrote:Yeah, imagine if you lived in some toxic area like on a former gas station, electronics factory, or in New Jersey,
