Hmmm, good question. I have positive associations with Monsanto even though that is no longer a Disney sponsor...

You would probably be one of a small handful of people, outside of shareholders, who have a positive view of them past 1995 since that was about the time the bad press rolled in like crazy.

But the only thing I know about Monsanto is that they sponsored the House of the Future and Adventure Through Inner Space at DL ~ so that is a good thing. I know I saw a farm vehicle with a tank stamped with the Monsanto company name a few months back. So I think for the average consumer, seeing a brand at Disney is a good connection...

Yeah... that is probably a bad thing that the only exposure is what they want you to see. They have gotten in a lot of trouble over the hormones they use for milk production, a bunch of genetics stuff, and so forth.

We have seen new car bodies on the track, more modern, but it hasn't shown any signs of the lengthy (and expensive) pixar theme update, which makes sense if a car maker is still footing the bill.

That and pixar/characters are usually only added to existing rides that don't draw in crowds, such as the living seas.

Actually, I think that backfired as far as the Living Seas goes...

Oh we love Pixar in this house so having Nemo added made it more fun. We would have visited Living Seas regardless because we're all science / nature nerds (Except DH but he tolerates my geekiness).
