The work on the Animation buildings in comming along rapidly... they are still bare buildings but many buildings are complete from a structure standpoint... Re: Disney's Art of Animation Resort
Is this supposed to be a value resort or moderate when it opens? And does anyone know why the different value resorts end up having slightly different room rates?

Re: Disney's Art of Animation Resort
A major factor that determines the room rate is actual square footage. For example WL and AKL are less expensive as deluxe resorts since their rooms are smaller than the others. I would expect a standard room to be similar in price when compared to Pop as the core building design and therefore room setup was intended to be the same. However, that may not be the case with this. We will know for certain once the booking system is full open for it.Amy wrote:Is this supposed to be a value resort or moderate when it opens? Re: Disney's Art of Animation Resort
Thanks for the clarification. I just always wondered since when I was comparing last year, the All Star Music would have a slightly different price than Movies or Sports. I always thought that was strange since you would assume those are all the same price. I wonder if that was based on capacity, the less rooms available, the more expensive they became?Len90 wrote:A major factor that determines the room rate is actual square footage. A value. All but one wing will be the family-style suites like All Star Music has.Amy wrote:Is this supposed to be a value resort or moderate when it opens? And does anyone know why the different value resorts end up having slightly different room rates?

I'm excited for this. I'm interested to see the themeing and detail in each of the different areas. Probably looking forward to Lion King the most.
Re: Disney's Art of Animation Resort
I'm guessing. It'll be fab for my family, we've always wanted the suite at Music but they book up so fast, now we will have a better chance of getting one. I'm actually hoping, if I don't get the professional position yet move down for UCF still, to get on in merchandise there. Several of us are going to apply to be on the opening team and all work together again.Amy wrote:Wow - so aimed toward larger parties then??Soarin08 wrote:A value. I helped stock and open a major retail store when I was in high school. Lots of work, but also lots of fun ~ I can only imagine how much better it would have been if it was Disney merchandise insteadSoarin08 wrote:I'm guessing.
