Do you know if that same discount available to annual passholders? or just Disney Visa?

I'll have to remember to ask when I book. I think we used the Disney Visa last time. I know once upon a time there was an American Express discount too.

I'll have to try to remember. The one time I forgot when buying a few things outside the Haunted Mansion, and Mom asked if I remembered the AP discount. That led to a really looooooong wait inside the Yankee Trader store around the corner for a return and repurchase with the discount. Met a few great CM's in there though so it wasn't so horrible to wait...

I did a little search. Looks like there may be some discounts for AAA on tours. Most sources say to go ahead and ask when checking on the tours.

I guess I just have a hard time paying for a tour after I've already paid to be there as a vacation. I suppose if I had tons of cash to just throw around I'd do it ... but I know so much already and have a few little connections to the insides and behind the scenes that I don't feel it to be wort it. Fun ... I'm sure it is, but costly.

Oh it is definitely expensive, but it really is fun to see some of the behind the scenes things. Lots of times the tours allow you to see things that the average CM never gets to experience. But if you have some inside connections, that is awesome!

So true... it never hurts to ask, right? It's amazing how many times we've scored with either the AP discount or the Disney Visa discount... or both! I suspect that sometimes they even gave us a discount with one or the other just because we were so insistent that they should!
On topic... we've done the Behind the Seeds tour, the Segway Epcot tour, and the Segway Fort Wilderness tour, and have loved all of them! In fact, I personally have done the Segway Epcot tour more than once, and would gladly do it again. We're also hoping to get an AP discount on the new Wild Africa Trek tour in AK that we're planning to go on with the Boilers in January. :D

Did you call and check the price for the Wild Africa Trek?

Guess I'll have to call myself. I don't know why they don't offer the price online. I wonder if it is because it costs a bit more than the average tour? Or they want to make sure you understand what the tour entails? I want to know more before I sign up. I was lucky enough to go on a safari in Africa so I'm not as excited about going on safari in Florida, but I still think it would be cool ~ plus the photos would be pretty awesome. I seem to remember someone saying that they were allowed to bring a small camera with them...I'll have to look up that trip report since I know it wasn't that long ago...
