Kapper: because it's a flash projector file it's a windows executible. It embeds the player and the .swf into a single file.

Eagle could release the .swf and you could get the mac player to play the .swf. Technically that would work.

NOTE: the 128k player was created using C++. The 64k player was used using flash.

There was some confusion I think

Okay now version 2.2 is out here are the changes
Download Now
  • 1. Smaller player
    2. Still at anytime if you want to see what song is playing, Press F7 (even when Minimized)
    3. Will not allow for 2 players to be open on the same pc at the same time
    4. The F8 still minimizes
    5. The F9 still Maximizes
    6. This Version Still includes a SR logo for the Icon
    7. If Any stream goes down it will kick into the 64k stream as a back-up
    8. Has a installer just open the SRP2.2_setup.exe file and it will install for you
    9. More colorful than version 2.1
    10. Still Includes a Countdown of the Song
    11. Selectable Streams. (meaning you can now choose between any of the 3 streams)
    12. Will not Autoplay upon open
    13. Mute and Un-Mute buttons (Does like they say)
NOTE: I have included a coutdown Press F7 to display and F9 to get rid of countdown
WARNING: You can't leave the Now Playing Screen up for a long time (when left open it will tend to display the wrong song title)

I Think thats it

Please Please Please let me know what you think.

Hope you enjoy it.

It plays fine to me and the quality is excellent. I also like the small size.

Thanks I need to update it because we no longer have 128 stream. Though when you click 128 on the player it will start the 96k stream instead

Sounds great to me, though Iwish they would limit "Q" music to late evenings. I like the basic ride music during the day and more instrumental in the evenings.

ok...i downloade and installed the player. it installs fine, but for me, i do not see many of the features you mention. when i launch it, it opens & i see the volume slider and 6 buttons (24k, 64k, 128k, mute, un-mute, exit). F8, F9, and F7 do nothing.

down in the tray, i see an icon for the player that alternates between the icon and a red X. if i right-click on it, i see "script paused" with a checkmark next to it, and the option to exit. if i hover over the alternating icon, i see "(Paused) SRP2.2.exe". the player stays up on my screen on top of everything else. i cannot get it to the background nor minimize it.

it does play music just fine, but i do not see any info about what track is playing or who requested it. i can give you a screenshot if it will help.

my default browser is FireFox. would this make any difference? i'm running Windoze XP Professional with all the latest SP's and fixes. i use symantec antivirus & zone-labs itegrity desktop.

let me know if you need any further information.

Okay when you press F7 it make take a feqw seconds to grab the song from the site. When you Press F8 it should hide the player and F9 brings it back. the thing with the red x and script and exit is to close the program. once you press F7 wait awhile if you press F7 then F8, F8 will not work.

I'm thinking about redueing this player just because it has the 128 stream. Give me some time I will start working on this.

Give me some Ideas on what you would like to see in the player and I can see if I can do it.

You need to press and HOLD the F7 key to see the song title (it took me a while to figure that one out).
A choice of the Scheduled stream would be a great upgrade. I guess that could be done by adding another button.
FYI this is the only player I use for listening and it works great for me.
Thanks!!!

How do I get to display everything? Mine plays great, but it just has control buttons, no display.

It would be nice if it could be minimized. I work on my home computer!!
