Yeah I could tell that last one was a cell phone picture. Which camera do you use? Seems to be full manual control as there is no flash use and you are getting crisp colors. I'm guessing a digital body...

I use a Canon Rebel XT usually. I'm certain the Train Station at Christmas was with that.

It's actually one of my all-time fave fireworks shots. In fact, it's my desktop background on my PC at work right now! I have a 21" monitor, so it looks fabulous! :D

Patience and lots of tries. A tripod and a slow shutter speed help too ;)
