That idea was axed shortly after the opening, so it's been dead for 10+ years and they are swapping one fiction for another, so think of it as beastly kingdom but with a conservation tint.Sharonofwindham wrote: I was starting to warm up to the idea for AK, since they were supposed to add a Beastly Kingdom, but the more I think about it the more rediculous it sounds. and angry! I really want to find a positive side to this project, but it ain't lookin' so good right now

The movie is so long that people, and the script writers, kind of forgot what the ponytails are for between scenes.
Clearly a ponytail is a sign of attractiveness, watch as this man goes from "accountant" to "sexy beast"

y'know, an iphone can do just more than one thing ("There's an app for that"). Think of that alien ponytail as a "multi-functional" organ - like the human ear allows us the hear and is also key to our system of balance. Who's to say that the Pandorian ponytails had to serve one simple function?

It sounds like someone is talking about using other human organs in alternative ways.

No, some organs do perform more than one function; what you're thinking about is like a kidney, for example - yes, it's primary function is filtering blood, but the alternate use is as a means for generating revenue by selling it on the black market for transplant organs.Wizzard419 wrote:It sounds like someone is talking about using other human organs in alternative ways.mindflipper wrote:y'know, an iphone can do just more than one thing ("There's an app for that"). Back on topic, I will wait and see what happens with Avatar. Sounds like it will be a long time before anything materializes anyhow.
Re: AVATAR coming to WDW
Except there's nothing in the movie that even remotely suggests that the ponytail (which the movie DOES show as being a conduit by which they can control the animals they fly on) is also used for a sexual purpose. I think Wizzard inferred something that wasn't there, or saw another movie or something.mindflipper wrote:y'know, an iphone can do just more than one thing ("There's an app for that"). The scene where the two main characters link their ponytails is their version of sex.MW1218 wrote:Except there's nothing in the movie that even remotely suggests that the ponytail (which the movie DOES show as being a conduit by which they can control the animals they fly on) is also used for a sexual purpose.
