I'm wondering if jmenjes is going for WDW's 40th? I don't think she is 40 yet...
So many trips in the upcoming days and weeks ~ have fun everyone!!

Are there any celebrations planned for the 40th - other than releasing merchandising?

We are leaving in 53 days! We will be at WDW for Thanksgiving - seeing the parks all dressed up for Christmas. Our kids, the hubby, and I are so excited to see the lights and decorations! Just a bit nervous about the crowds. We have never been over the holidays. I'm thankful its not our first trip - have that going for us!

Ehh, it isn't too terribly bad... went in 2008 and was there on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. AVOID MK, I'd say on those days. We went to DHS and Epcot and DAK instead, Epcot and DHS on Christmas Day, in fact. Are you doing Candlelight Processional at Epcot? It's well worth it.

You aren't crazy--we went Christmas last year and had the best trip EVER!
You are going to have a blast, but, yes, the crowds are bad. You just work around them
Merry Christmas!!

How exciting! Are you doing the relay or the full 1/2? Would love to see a picture of the medal!

As long as you have got clothes and some spending money you should be set. You can wing it by yourself easily! Just be sure to gather up all the park maps and the EMH and show schedule thingie when you check in
