I RODE EVEREST !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Post by SysFail » Feb Fri 03, 2006 1:17 pm

yes yes yes it is true ... I rode Everest this past weekend. :D :P

IT ROX!

only thing that sucked was that you only get to see the giant Yeti for about 3 seconds as you go screaming past and he tries to grab you with his HUGE hand

I like how his hair was blowing... :)

And I'm with you. He went by so fast that I wasn't really able to get a good perspective on how big he really was. He was definitely massive, though! :D

I posted somewhere on here the link to miceage where they had photo's of the ride. It looks like a very updated Matterhorn ride like at DL, with the abonimal snowman inside the ride. The simularities are rollercoaster, monster inside, snow covered mountains. But that is probably where the simularity ends. It looks totally awesome from the pics that were on miceage. Hopefully I will get down to FL and check it out. I am sure it blows the Mattehorn off the map, no contesto! But I will have to ride it and see for myself!

Cool! We rode it during the AP/DVC preview two weeks ago and I think it is amazing. It's definitely stronger than BTMRR but less intense than RNR - a defintie Disney experience!

Also I loved how realistic the Yeti looked - the hair blowing was amzaing! :D

All you guys are making me very jealous!! However you are also doing a very good job at persuading the rest of the group to speed up our plans to get back there. :)

QuickGold, is that B as in a Disney B Ticket or a B as in a grade at school?
Drop another coin in slot and I will tell you more.

I rode it three times during the DVC/AP preview and really liked it. The backwards part was a lot faster than I thought it was going to be and the drop was great fun too. I heard it was an 80 ft. drop but it really didn't feel like it.
The Yeti was great too!
