Most likely not. We went to MVMCP a year or two ago and while it was nice, felt it was kind of expensive for what it was. We're not all that in to watching parades and character meetings, so it really was just paying $50+ per person to spend 3 hours at MK for us. I would LOVE to see Hallowishes and we're planning on watching that from the Polynesian - hopefully they'll pipe in the music!Cub wrote:Jealous! This will be our first year going around Halloween. We're very excited to be participating in all of the festivities!Polynesian Princess wrote:Most likely not. Watching Hallowishes from your resort will be great! I can't wait to see that, as well!
Nah, we just had to pick our dates based on my school breaks. We've been browsing menus online and nothing's jumped out at either one of us. That probably will change when we're walking by and smelling the food though.Amy wrote:Anyone heading specifically for the Food and Wine Festival?
Take pictures if you think about it. I'm curious what you end up thinking about the prices and offerings.Cub wrote:With all the excitement about Halloween, I forgot about that.Amy wrote:Anyone heading specifically for the Food and Wine Festival?I will definitely be pigging out in Epcot... Especially in Japan. Mmmmm...sushi...
I had looked at a few blog posts about past years. A few things looked tasty, but the prices seem high for the little tiny snacks. I think it would be a good way to use snacks on the Dining Plan thoughPolynesian Princess wrote:Nah, we just had to pick our dates based on my school breaks. Don't judge by me, I'm only going by the photos and prices I've seen...plus I'm cheapCub wrote:Holy moly. I had no idea it was that expensive.
Mom and I agree that we are just going to stick with our chocolate covered frozen bananas and pretzels.
Yes, that's a big part of my reasoning too - the prices I've seen are very high for the amount of food you get. I hate to think about how much it would cost per person to get a meal's worth of food. Another problem is that my husband and I have wildly different tastes in food (opposites attractAmy wrote:I had looked at a few blog posts about past years.
