Well as of now, still waiting to hear about the CP and I have the phone interview for the professional position tomorrow. My top choices for the alumni-only jobs are college program recruiter (self-explanatory, I'd be working from FL doing recruiting for the college program), Disney Cruise Line sales rep, and development trainer (I'd work at what we call Disney University or at a resort/park coordinating training for incoming CMs). I still also have put in the app for merchandise management, which is what I REALLY want but I'm also hesitant about it because of where I'd love to work for that. Everything will be finalised in December, which seems too far out to wait!MmeLeota wrote:You're awesome!!!!!Soarin08 wrote:I'm glad that my CM status is eliciting a big smile on M-dude's updated list!!!![]()

Well it went okay, I think, we mostly talked about the two management positions and the college recruiting coordinator one... I wouldn't be surprised if they put me in food/beverage management based on everything I did at Saratoga even though I REALLY want a change from foods, hence why I opted for retail management since I did do some merchandise work at Saratoga as well. I REALLY wouldn't be shocked if they put me AT Saratoga again!Mousekedude wrote:Sending clouds of glimmering pixie dust your way...Soarin08 wrote: Well as of now, still waiting to hear about the CP and I have the phone interview for the professional position tomorrow. Sorry if I missed it... but what happened at Fort Wilderness...?Soarin08 wrote:...Just as long as I never have to set foot in Ft. Wilderness to work EVER again!!!
It was were I did my last college program and it was a nightmare... the management can't run the place and I've never seen so many hateful guests in all my life.Mousekedude wrote:Sorry if I missed it... but what happened at Fort Wilderness...?Soarin08 wrote:...Just as long as I never have to set foot in Ft. I've been there for the off-road Segway tour, and it seemed like a nice place. Of course, I do remember that the "aroma" from the horse leavings was pretty strong....
Oh, I'm sorry you went through that. Hope this go-round is much better for you!Soarin08 wrote:It was were I did my last college program and it was a nightmare... the management can't run the place and I've never seen so many hateful guests in all my life.Mousekedude wrote:Sorry if I missed it... but what happened at Fort Wilderness...?Soarin08 wrote:...Just as long as I never have to set foot in Ft. I can respect that. After over 28 years as a f&b cm I have had my share of poor managers. I just never let one of them take away the pixie dust!!Soarin08 wrote:No comment no comment no comment... my lips are sealed. I love food and beverage but not at certain locations... now if I could go back to Saratoga Springs, then I'd be a happy woman.![]()
Hopefully by the time of the meet-up I'm managing one of the food/beverage locations... still waiting on THAT email.
