Yup, 4 seasons in 1 day happens more than one would expect around here! I would still rather be a little chilly than too warm. If I'm chilly I move faster!boilerbabe wrote:Well, I can be blamed for B-dude having so many shorts since I do his packing! LOL. But, all of our experiences with Nov/Dec were very pleasant. I guess you can say lesson learned! B-dude and I will both have more warmer clothes as well in Jan. You just never know!!! I didn't know FL was so unpredicatable like the NW, Amy can back me up, we can have 4 seasons in 1 day around here!!!
At any rate, we'll be more prepared! We're hoping for great weather in Oct! Last Oct when my mom and I visisted my B/F and Godson, it was actually too warm! Whatever it is, no complaining, we're looking at this as a very big extra bonus trip! We'll make the best out of it and we're trying some new things too which will be fun!

Yes, I agree Amy, I like the cooler weather, like what we've been having these past few days, 70's and not humid! It could stay like this year round, I would be a happy camper!

Yup! I'm thinking Hawaii has nice temperatures year 'round, but then I would be super far from WDW and pretty far from DL tooboilerbabe wrote:Yes, I agree Amy, I like the cooler weather, like what we've been having these past few days, 70's and not humid! True, but the new resort opens today...at least you could find a sliver of Disney in HawaiiAmy wrote:Yup! As far as Dole Whips go, we actually got a DW float this time...

I usually don't go for the float because to me it's sicky sweet, but with it being so hot the thought of juice with my DW sounded really good. It wasn't as bad as I remembered...of course, I was imagining some rum in there and I think it would be mighty yummy!!!
After seeing the pics/video of the Hawaii resort at the expo, I would totally be on board to go!!! It looks fabulous!!! In fact, one lucky family won an opportunity to go! Lucky them!!!

Looking forward to the shorts weather!
And Mmeleota...my fav. way to do the DW is to have the pineapple/vanilla swirled in the pineapple juice! Then it's not too sweet, well, not for me anyway!
There are all kinds of combos you can do! In Dec. B-dude and I tried the orange/pineapple swirl! Delicious!!!!

I am looking forward to trying the orange/pineapple (I'm sure Cbog40 would be interested in that as well...)! In DL, we only have pineapple whip...with the only variation being a float (pineapple whip in pineapple juice).boilerbabe wrote:Looking forward to the shorts weather! And Mmeleota...my fav. way to do the DW is to have the pineapple/vanilla swirled in the pineapple juice! Suddenly, the DW I had a week ago isn't good enough....(in the words of Ariel

My mouth is now watering for a DW, it's all I think about! The first thing I think I need to do upon our arrival is make it over to either MK or the Poly for this delicious frozen treat!
