The only good thing about these forecasts is that they keep moving it east. Hopefully it will go right between the US and Bermuda!
I might need to to go WDW to get away from this storm

I'm sure the commissioner took the time to pick out his draft picks just in case.mindflipper wrote:Wouldn't he miss out the Fantasy Football picks if he did?
Amen! I sure hope it goes well out to sea where it won't bother anyone too badly! Until then, the hunker-down-at-WDW plan doesn't sound like a bad ideawewantsdaredhead wrote:This thing has me worried---looking bigger and bigger...

Let's see, bad things normally come in threes, you've already had three bad things, maybe you'll be ok with Irene passing on by!!yodiwan1 wrote:well let's see, in the past 3 days, my A/C broke, BBQ blew up, and major leak in my pool...DO I REALLY NEED A HURRICANE TOO!!!!!!

It's 2011 - bad things can come in fours, fives, sixes, and sevens. Although for some, the worst was in twos.

Looking at the latest projection at NOAA/NHC, it looks like Len90 is safe from it down in WDW only to have it show up on his doorstep at home in NJ on Monday. What a way to end a WDW vacation!

He may not be able to get home! Wouldn't that be awful? Stuck in WDW for an extra day or two!boilerbabe wrote:Better for Irene to visit Len at home rather than ruin their vaca!

I think Len would prefer to have his home still standing in one piece rather than to be stuck in WDW for an extra day or two...

And that would just terrible if Len were to have to spend an extra day in WDW!

Re: Beware of Irene!!!
Irene is passing just east of Len now out in the Atlantic, so it should not be a problem for him when he departs Saturday. His plane may have to take the longer way around to NJ, but he should be back at his home in time for Irene to visit him there on Sunday...

Mindflipper - We're getting a good bit here near the beach. Temperature is pretty nice as well, don't you think?
I'm praying that this storm starts tracking dead East and moves away from everyone. Prepare and stay safe if it's coming your way.

It's blue skies downtown right now; it looks like it rained over night here and at home...NaCler wrote:Mindflipper - We're getting a good bit here near the beach. Temperature is pretty nice as well, don't you think?
