I can vouch for how not to get a high score ~ holding a digital recorder in one hand, a camera in another and trying to shoot all at the same time didn't lead to very high scores   Oh, and trying to keep the 3D glasses in front of the camera so the images didn't come out all fuzzy
If you want my strategy to shooting quick it is place the cord between your middle and index fingers. Let the ball fall to the inside of your hand. This will allow you to shoot rapid with the less amount of movement. The other hand and your shooting hand's elbow/shoulder can all be used for leverage and aim. I will warn you though that this method can cause blisters.

As for maximizing the amount of times you can squeeze in the ride, everyone here has it figured out perfectly!

So you can play the game well, but will end up injured? Sounds like a great strategy for masochist on a fun-filled vacation! Don't forget to pack those band-aids!  :mickey:

I use the same strategy, Len!

Problem is that my accuracy is never that good because of the rapid fire. Here is my score as well as DW's from our last trip. Notice that her accuracy was better than mine. We wanted to ride it again...but the line was too long to justify getting back in.

That is correct but remember you are not penalized for being inaccurate. The rapid fire rate helps you to catch the high point moving targets in the background. I find that I always take vehicle champion and am the only one doing that method. As for the band aids, I'll have to remember to pack some.

Maybe if your accuracy were better you would have gotten a cute bunny as a prize, rather than a somewhat bedraggled looking cat...

Maybe I'll bring my driving gloves for the game to protect my fingers:).

Good grief, next thing you know, Len will be out there putting athletic tape on his fingers, stretching his triceps and guzzling Gatorade before he hits TSMM  ;)

Actually, the athletic tape is not a bad idea for him...

As for the prize, with 181,000+ you probably were top score in the vehicle. I'm actually starting like some of these ideas. The only question I have to taping is will it provide the same amount of grip on the cord? The Gatorade can be useful as the burst of electrolytes can bring a bit more stamina. :D

Think of the athletic tape like the grip on the baseball bat, golf club or tennis racquet ~ you'll have a much better grip on the cord! And if you put the Gatorade in a camelback, you can sip as you compete ;)

Be better to drink it before so it can get into your system quicker...

I am imagining Len traveling to Siberia to train like Rocky. Mark is helping him and has created a spring-loaded replica of the TSMM ride vehicle. There is cheesy 80s music blaring in the background. It's fantastic!

Hahaha I actually didn't want to say anything but that is exactly what Mark and I have been doing for the past six months. In all honesty everyone has their own strategy for beating the game. You just have to find the one that works best for you!

In keeping with the Rocky "back to basics" training, I'm sure it's a crude rig, made up with lots of welded angle iron and chain link fence.
