LOL, McDonalds, that reminds me.......my sister came to visit me in Boston, so I took she and my niece to Faneuill Hall (Quincy Market) to shop and eat, she was so overwhelmed by the city life and crowds she stormed out and went across the way to eat at a McDonalds!! ha ha ha I said "come on you came to the big city, now deal with it!!" Though she did finally adjust somewhat, still she says she never wants to go to that place again

I think I will pass on the McD's and taco joint, hummmmm we will just wait and see what we want to do once we get there. Thanks though! We had planned on going to DL but then my mom passed away and I had to cancel my return trip to Cali in December (when we had planned on going to DL), and all my BF talked about was us eating at the Blue Bayou and having a Monte Cristo!! Thought I might be able to salvage that dream if we went down to WDW, but guess we will wait til I fly back to Cali and go to DL!

My BF is flying in from California in a few wks and we have been talking about jetting down to WDW, so I was curious if that attraction at WDW had a BBR?

Thanks!
Yeah no Blue Bayou Restaurant. If you are looking for a place to eat in WDW the coolest place is Cinderella's Royal Table.

A word of advice...make a reservation early. You can normally get a lunch reservation, but dinner reservations go quick. The best is to be in the restuarant as the fireworks go off...very cool.

Thanks, that looks really pretty. I will show him the links on here when he arrives. Now it might be March before he gets here ughhhh, that's spring break time and I don't want to go then. I am going to search through the dining link on the website, thanks Rich!

Also, I HIGHLY recommend (especially if you have children) is the Crystal Palace. It's a buffet with all the Pooh characters walking around the tables, and is VERY kid friendly because of it. :)

Sure.... another nice place in the Magic Kingdom is Tony's Town Square. One of my wife's fav places.

There are not alot of full service restaurants in the Magic Kingdom.

Here's a link of the dining in MK:

And remember to book a reservation before you go, they book up quick!

I always used to love the turkey legs you could get in Typhoon Lagoona nd Blizzard beach. They weren't very expensive, but were so filling. Not even my brother could manage a whole one. Having said that this is going back a few years so i'm not sure if you can still get them. They were one of my favorite lunches though!

Yes, you can still get them. I'm pretty sure at all the parks now. Definately MGM as my husbands gets one all the time. :D

Cheap eats is my middle name. I never have time to eat anywhere expensive.

They also have them in Epcot - in a stand in front of the America Adventure and in Magic Kingdom - in Frontier land near Pecos Bill Café, also in a cart.

Not sure if that have them in AK...

In my opinion, Goodings is the most expensive grocery near WDW, on every item. The Winn Dixie and Publix are far cheaper, and the Publix has a much better selection.

My money saving tip on food is as follows:

When you eat counter services that serve like the chicken strip and burger baskets, they show them all with fries. You can order them without the fries and save $2.00. Usually one order of their fries is enough for 2-3 people.
