Well, I had an opportunity to be in Texas, but it didn't work out. Experimentation is the best way to go in my opinion, but I'd like to take a class to learn about the terminology and all that stuff.

Thanks, all! I have a bunch of great shots like that from Illuminations during the December 2010 meet-up on the night that we were there with Amy and F1gment. I think I posted some of them in the trip report, but not all of them. I'll look again and maybe post a couple more that I didn't get around to before.

I know I have been really back logged in getting to my trip report and pictures. I promise that it will get done, but just got pushed back as college and secondary applications had to get done. As I take a brief brake tonight during my work, I'm pulling one of my favorite daytime and nighttime pictures from this past trip that I just knew would be perfect when I took them.
