Going down this weekend for 10 days. Will be there for the 15th. Anyone hear abou
t a soft opening?

It's gonna open as soon as we are done training as far as I know.

It's still not reopened?! Ok I know it's only been like 7 months but it seems a WHOLE lot longer. By the time I get back to the good 'ole U S of A I'm getting another pass and spending like a month at WDW

missing it big time and haven't had a fix since right before this fire happened.

Be patient...and to be honest, I can't imagine it will that crowded when it re-opens...

My guess is that at best it will have the Cpt. Eo effect where people will come for a very short period of time and there may be a line. But after that it will have the same draw as the version that diehards didn't like.

Less, probably. It doesn't have deranged MJ groupies to fill it the first day like Capt. Eo...

That and we might have had the super packed crowds because of the local factor. I think there might have been a spike in interest when DLR's re-opened, but it was just a refurbishment (same show as always but some tech was upgraded).

It will open August 15th and I'm trying to trade shifts with cast members to work ATT that day. As of right now, I'm scheduled at Pirates.

Is that one of your favorite attractions or do you just want in on the opening day excitement? I hope you can find someone to trade with you

I want to work on opening day! I'll get to see the show on the 14th but only training and with no guests. I want to wake up Jose again with guests watching!

Are you trained in one "land" in the park only or would you go from let's say Pirates to Small World to Carousel? Probably a dumb question, but I was just wondering'! And by the way, hope you get the opening, give Jose an extra tap for us Subsonic-ers!

I work at the ATT Complex (Aladdin, Treehouse, Tiki Room) & Pirates. I can only cross-train in Adventureland/Liberty Square Attractions...Haunted Mansion next!!

And I found someone to switch my shifts with to work opening day Tiki! Ill be there 930 to 18 (and tiki usually opens at 10am)

I thought the HM used to be hard to get? A CM-exclusive where you had to be "in" with the CM brass that's in charge over there...
