Out of curiosity: as I've never actually tried one, how does a veggie burger taste? Honestly, not much different than the real thing. I buy the Boca ones when I can afford them but on property, best one is at Pecos Bill's. They grill them fresh when you order so they're always hot.mindflipper wrote:Out of curiosity: as I've never actually tried one, how does a veggie burger taste? I don't eat a lot of meat in general, mostly just chicken and fish. I don't like beef and it's equally as rare that I eat pork.

I've only tried a veggie burger once or twice. The one time I didn't even the first bite because it was all gristle-y ~ ick, that is one of the reasons I avoid meat!Soarin08 wrote:Honestly, not much different than the real thing. Re: Mayhem Marauders Meet-up Part Deux!
I love having a thick juicy minced bovine patty... mmmmmm!!!
But I will agree that chicken and fish are much healthier, and I'm working on eating more of those instead of munching on various cow parts. I will say this, though: the pulled pork sandwiches at Flame Tree BBQ are a food group all their own... Oh, yeah... culinary bliss.... (slobbering shamelessly....)
By the way, just to get back on topic... there are several things we need to do as a group during our January reunion that involve food and such. So far we have the 'Ohana dinner at the Poly, followed by our rum-spiked-Dole-Whip meet-up on the beach during Wishes. Then there's the "Kitchen Sink" at Beaches and Cream, and the "Beverly Challenge" at Club Cool in Epcot (I am soooo gonna win this one... LOL). Also, there's the Jalapeno Margaritas at La Cava Del Tequila. What else am I missing...?

Actually, I wouldn't be surprised if M-dude couldn't down 2 L of Beverly no problem. I think he's already burned off all of his taste buds with all those Jalapeno Marguaritas over at Mexico...

Sitting out the Beverly challenge unless you want me barfing in the trash can like the guy the other day!!Mousekedude wrote:I love having a thick juicy minced bovine patty... mmmmmm!!!![]()

Re: Mayhem Marauders Meet-up Part Deux!
OK now I wish I was coming I would throw down the gauntlet to Mousekedude . I can drink Beverley like it is water.
One of my favourite things is to wait until there are a few people around take a taste of the nice Japanese stuff that tastes like fanta down that and as you all know most people are sheep they follow, then take a slug of Beverley and say Oh Wow, stand back and watched the disgust as they try it.
What can I say I'm

Amy, if you'll recall, we missed our chance because I couldn't get in touch with you and didn't know you were there. The cell phone service was really bad while we were there, and texts would take hours to be delivered. So we didn't find out until later that you went to Club Cool, and every time we tried to go after that, it was too late and they were already closed. That's why I'm so eager to schedule it in this time. I want to prove that I love the stuff.
Sleepy, it's a shame you can't be there. I'd so join you in pranking people...
