It was really low, I couldn't even really feel the warmth. But still... I love going in there just for the fireplace. Gorgeous!
You know I was just messing with you right?! ;) Yeah...the gentle glow of the firelight. I still wouldn't be sitting in front of it in July or August in Florida
I know THAT. But I still posted proof anyway.

It's WL, I had to do it just because.

No parks today... just lounged around at the house and took a break. Honestly, my feet needed a break and everyone I visit was off today anyway so no great loss... back out there tomorrow though, of course!

And three words... Grey Goose slush. That's all.

I suppose that is the advantage of knowing you will be back there very soon, being able to take a day off without fretting that you are losing a day in the parks
What all is in a Grey Goose slush? I was pretty sure vodka doesn't freeze, so it must have something else in it...

No, it's the vodka (according to a WDW site, it is 2 parts Grey Goose Citron (or other) citrus vodka, 2 parts sweet and sour mix, 1 part simple syrup. Blend with ice.)... it's a citron (lemonade) one. It was my first drink actually. And yes, in France, at the wine cart across from Les Chefs. Here's a pic (not mine)-

Then let's see, also had the pina colava from the Outer Rim over at the Contemporary tonight... aka pina colada with raspberry puree-

Again, not mine, but I do have a pic of it for later.

True! I don't know, it feels nice to do something... normal, I guess you could say. I didn't get to have a normal 21st birthday being there so I'm making up for it here.

Epcot and who knows what else today... visiting people.

When I was a CP back in 2001 I actually dated a girl from 2 different girls from BYU. I was supposed to visit but it never happened. All they kept saying was WDW was soooo different from back home!
"hold on to them hats and glasses, cause this here's the wildest ride in the wilderness!!"

It IS. Everything is... well, it's like another planet. It's the Mormon thing, really. But seeing as my Mormonism is about as lukewarm as you can get (I'm what we call a cultural Mormon), I could care less if I am down here enjoying a drink. Most of my friends out there would have a heart attack because that's just not done.

My mouth is watering for that Grey Goose freeze!

I don't drink a lot, but every now and then I just gotta have one!

We have a lot of mormons in my neck of the woods too Soarin...most of my friends in HS were considered "cultural"...I couldn't believe some of the things they told me!

One of the best things I've ever had in my life! That and the pina colava...

So today I was at Port Orleans French Quarter wandering around and this girl is in the lobby just staring me down... finally she says she thought she knew me and it turned out to be one of my good friends from my 2009 CP! She looked so different though I didn't recognise her- not bad different, though.
