I have 12 tediously long days before I go Disneyland!!!!!! My family and I are staying at GCH and I could not be more excited or anxious. I'm looking forward to racing to Star Tours, first thing in the morning, so I don't have a two hour wait. I'm ready to pick out my favorite Genie, Aladdin, and Jasmine through multiple showings of Aladdin the Musical Spectacular. I can't wait for Bengal BBQ and Dole Whip. Indiana Jones, all the Mountains, and the New Little Mermaid Ride! But mostly I can't wait for my heart to beat faster and faster as Mickey directs his fireworks in the best show ever, Fantasmic!

It almost seems like this board is always going to have someone either down in disney or heading down within a week or so now. Soarin' is still there, H leaves in about 2 weeks with my family and I right behind him. As our vacation starts winding down we have Chells' just starting up!

Soarin' might still be there if she can cancel her apartment and get her dad to agree to fly her back next week. MAYBE. No promises.

You seem to forget that my writing is terrible! Since it is past our flight time, I can proudly say less than two weeks now until our plane leaves!!!

Actually, Len90, I have no idea if your writing is terrible - I've not read any of it.

I'm hoping for your sake the Florida heat wave is over by then. Yesterday, our building AC's was done and it got quite hot up here on the upper floors. Even with a fan it was 90 F inside. The high yesterday was 99 F with a heat index over 110 F!

Remember to drink plenty of water if anyone is down there at WDW today!

In all honesty I just hope the rains aren't too bad. I know it's a tough time being the height of hurricane season and during the rainy months. I can handle the heat after the brutal summer we've been having up here. Two weeks ago it hit about 108 before the humidity and other goodies.

Well guys it looks like I can't convince her to join us this time. We will just have to try and plan another small trip before next summer, maybe winter break.
I feel bad showing my excitement in front of her......but it's so darn hard not to!
My brother's girlfriend has started packing already! I'm usually last minute with that.......still grabbing things that morning. This year I swear I'm gonna be ready earlier.
Do any of you guys still get excited the night before?

Yeah, the anticipation builds and builds. I've found that the busier you are working up to the trip, the less time you have to be excited. This past December I wasn't excited until I was on the plane...I was just too darned busy

I agree--this week I have a busy week travelling for work, so I won't think about it too much, but this weekend will be killing me!!

Check this out--my wife asked me last night if I was going to get one of those "pineapple things" while we were there. What????!!!!
