The EWP does have it's own music, much similiar to the style of the original MSEP music done by Don Dorsey. The music is played from the floats themselves. I had no problem hearing them from the balcony of my room at the Contemporary that time.jacobcary1 wrote:I have seen it from the monorail and the Contemporary. I never remember any music though.

Re: Wishes from the Poly beach
We saw the EWP from the California Grill balcony, and there was no music. It looked pretty cool, though, and we kept saying afterwards that we need to make it a point to see it up close some time... but never have yet.
Oh well... put it on the bucket list.
As a matter of fact, maybe I should put it on the list of things we definitely need to do if we get to go in January as we're currently planning to do.

Is another meet-up in the cards for January 2011 as the boilers will be there too?Mousekedude wrote:We saw the EWP from the California Grill balcony, and there was no music. Oh yes, we will be there!!! I have no idea why there was no music being piped in at the Poly? They've done it for as long as I can remember! Like b-dude said, it is only on the beach near the Hawaii longhouse, the beach near the luau does not have music.mindflipper wrote:Is another meet-up in the cards for January 2011 as the boilers will be there too?Mousekedude wrote:We saw the EWP from the California Grill balcony, and there was no music. Re: Wishes from the Poly beach
Actually have never seen Wishes from the Poly. It's not my favourite fireworks showing so I've never made it a point to go over and watch. I've seen it from MK, of course, and then Ft. Wilderness (they piped in the music from the beach and one night the music didn't work.... was everyone P.O.ed about THAT). I do think it looks better outside of MK. Plus the mad rush to leave the park afterward isn't worth it!

Well, given some Mayhem Marauders are adept in smuggling rum into the MK, that could be do-able...boilerbabe wrote:I would like to see if we could get him on that in Jan!!!
