We are running 1st and then staying the week after---my wife didn't want to walk all week and then try and run 13.1. I was cool either way, but you how it is when momma aint happy!!!

That's funny, I would probably do the same.

So exciting!!! We will be there too! I'm a veteran to road races, have been running since h.s. cross country! I've battled my share of injuries, and the fact that I'm running right now is nothing short of a miracle. I will be running the 1/2 with my dad, cousin and his new wife. We have a huge group going and I can't wait! This will be mine and my dad's second 1/2 in Disney! We did our first 1/2 ever in Disney in '05, it was the most amazing experience! In 2012, my goal is to run pain free and to feel good at the finish! :D We will also be doing the 5K on Fri. My cousin is signed up for the Goofy! And we have serveral friends running the full. And M-dude and M-holic are signed up for the 5K now!!! YAHOO!

When the time gets closer, everyone that is involved should post their bib #'s! Good luck to all of those training! Happy running!!!

I'll be running in the 5K and the half. Joe90 got me thinking about the full after last years race, but I think I know my limits.

yayyyy! We have quite a contingent running, don't we?
If you want a group pic--you are going to have to wait for me to hobble across the finish line lol Might be a while!!!

What are you thinking your pace time is going to be?! I'm not a 5 min. miler myself!!! If I can maintain a 10:30, I would be thrilled, that is if my leg holds up!!! We plan on hanging around afterward, there are supposed to be character photo opts, brunch et....when everyone gets their bib #'s, we have to find a way to meet up!!!

Has everyone seen this yet?! Very cool! This race has grown leaps and bounds since we did it in '05!

That is awesome---wow that really helps. I remember when my wife ran in 07, I didn't have a clue where to go or what to do. This is a big help.

I am a 12 minute miler all day long. I will be bringing up the rear.
We will definitely hang around afterward and bask in the glow of our victory...either that or I won't be able to walk :)

I'm glad that link helped! I think it's great! In '05 my mom and husband (then boyfriend) had to wait for the monorails to start running so they could get to MK and then back to the finish! We will be hanging around afterward and def. basking in the glow of our victory! I'm thinking you'll be able to walk after the race, you might have trouble a day or two later! It's always that DOMS (Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness) that comes and bites ya! If you've trained you should be o.k. though!!! No matter what your pace is, it's a victory!!! Start/finish! It's all about the bling!

That's very cool! In the (unfortunately) unlikely event that I am able to come, now I know where I can cheer you all on from!

I was wondering if we needed to bring a tank of oxygen with us at the finish line for some of subsonic participants?

They would probably rather have a bottle or a keg of something stronger than Oxygen ;)
