I'm happy with how it ended, I think 3 is good enough.

Toy Story mania has to be the most frustrating ride just o get a Fast Pass! It has become a quest...a quest for fun!

This is the Huffington Post, so it's not like it's truly official from Pixar. I'm sure Pixar is working on multiple projects, but it doesn't mean it will see the theaters necessarily. It's just on the drawing board, that's all...

I agree.

DW and I were at DHS for rope drop one of the days we were there...and half of the people there went straight for TSMM Fast Pass...not the ride. So DW and I had to make a decision...wait 45-60 minutes to get Fast Pass...or wait 45 minutes to actually ride it right then. So we decided to ride as I would prefer to ride if I am going to wait 45+ minutes. Who would wait 45+ minutes just to get a Fast Pass? I guess a parent standing in line while the rest of the family is riding other things. Still...absolutely ridiculous. I've said it before and I will say it again...the Fast Pass system is horribly abused when it comes to TSMM...and after experiencing it many times...I think I prefer ToT and RnR better...possibly even ST2.

Yep, I think the problem with the ride is that it can't hold enough people to match it's draw. If I recall, it holds about 100 people inside the ride, but all the stops make the dispatch slow.

Wow, you make me feel better for not having riden yet TSMM. I think I can wait still that much longer then...

To be fair...the ride is awesome...and worth a 30-45 minute wait if for no other reason than the amazing queue design.

But...I do not think it is anywhere near good enough to justify the mad rush for FP or to justify the very long lines. So...when you combine the very long lines with the difficulty of getting a timely FP...it is not as good as RnR or ToT. Especially when you can get a FP for ToT...ride it with a 30 minute wait...then use the FP to get right back on if your timing is right. You just can't beat that.

DCA's is far less entertaining, there is the brief time in front of the barker Mr. Potato Head, and then you stand around outside, then go into a smaller indoor area where it's just posters for the games, then back outside to get your glasses and go on the ride.

There is a lot to look at in WDW's version. All the old games and things are fun. We spent A LOT of time with Mr. Potato Head since the queue was moving at a snails pace, if it was even that fast

Personally, I just not a big fan for standing around in a long line - especially at WDW during the hot summer months (which is rarely why I will go during that time of the year)...

I wish they would have designed Toy Story Mania like Space Mountain -- two lines, two tracks -- thus doubling the capacity.

That would be nice! It would suck up too much room for the attraction building though :(

I always thought it would be cool if Disney could build track 1 on a ride on floor level #1, and track 2 on floor level #2. One building, 2 floors, 2 tracks, and smaller space - :? :mickey:

Would that be feasible though? Aren't those ride systems pretty heavy-duty? Then you would have to add in all the queue decor and guests' weight. Plus, look at what happened with the one attraction they do have on multiple floors ~ Tower of Terror  That thing never functions quite right, the elevator goes up and down, and up and up and up and then back down...not very reliable ;)

Nah, the building is reliable, you just got a sadistic CM that wants to turn guests into yo-yo's, that's all...
