Well, I suppose the only way we could compare is to put you in a bikini and blond wig, or your naturally long, flowing tresses if you are related to Rapunzel. Then we can decideWizzard419 wrote:I darn well better look better than the fireman considering all the time I spend at the gym!

Considering that I like to mess with custom electronics and cooking, I don't think I will be growing my hair out anytime soon. Bad enough to find hair in your food, but a 3 foot long one would be just scary.

There is an Alamo centre just outside the Magic Kingdom by the Hess garage. I think all of the hotels can arrange pickups and drop offs from the hotels to the centre.

Alamo® Rent A Car, the Official Rental Car of Walt Disney World Resort, has locations at the Orlando International Airport and at the Car Care Center near the parking exit of Magic Kingdom theme park. For Emerald Club customers, National Car Rental® also has a location at the Car Care Center. Shuttle service to and from your resort location is provided 7 days a week, Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. — 8:00 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 a.m. — 6:00 p.m. (holiday hours may vary). Shuttle service should be scheduled at least one hour in advance.rphillips14 wrote:So, you can rent a car at Dolphin and where else at Disney?
I also second that gulf beaches are MUCH nicer than the Atlantic beaches near Disney. They are Caribbean-like & the sand is so soft. Siesta Key (in Sarasota where I live) is gorgeous and probably the best beach I've ever been to in the states, but it will add about 40 minutes to your drive - Clearwater is closer.

Re: Going to the Beach
This is how I found out I could rent a car at the Dolphin...

Like I said, it worked out perfect for DW and I to spend a morning in a park, then take Disney transportation to the Dolphin to pick up the car. It let us do everything on our own time without taking us away from the parks. We just made our rental reservation online through Alamo and picked up the car when we got to the Dolphin. They even had a valet guy bring the car right to us, unlike having to go get the car yourself at the airport. We did the same thing when we dropped it off, valet took it away. We tipped the valet guys, but it didn't break the bank. It is definitely something we will do on all of our future trips (renting a car) just so we can make a run to Walmart to buy water and snacks. For 2+ people staying 4+ days, you can save $20-$50 alone on water and snacks by getting them at Walmart instead of getting them on Disney location.
But that is a different topic.
