Ah, my favorite number! I think I always prefer when I can say 42 hours instead of 42 days...
It is the answer to all of life's questions after all...

But what is the question?!

One of my students played that for the last recital

I'm going to hazard a guess and say between 126-164 days until our next trip...we'll see how close I was once we actually start booking things

Yeh, it would have sounded better if you could have actually heard the drums and the triumphant upswell of voices from the angelic choir...

Enjoy these days as if they are part of the vacation. I honestly love the excitement that is associated with getting everything together for my trips to the world. You get to go shopping for items that you really only need for when you travel and most importantly you get to count down the days. One of the coolest things I still think is when you get your complete booklet with your itinerary and vouchers once your trip is paid in full.
-nod- Tell me about it! I love preparing... the packing. The buying of an entire new wardrobe (I totally did). Getting my ADRs. Ahhh...
Now we're at 40 days, is that anyone's favourite number?

I think it was Noah's favorite number. He went on a cruise that lasted that many days...

I am not so fond of the preparing and packing. I more enjoy the arriving at the destination! A whole new wardrobe? Really? I still have clothes that I had 17 years ago

We look back at photos of past vacations and my friends and I marvel at how many of the same clothes and coats and things we still own. That won't be the case one of these days ~ they just don't make 'em like they used to anymore

As for buying all new things for vacation, if anything, I buy a shirt
at Disney

New summer dresses. I'm NOT wearing jeans in the parks and I don't like shorts. So I go with dresses. Granted I got them all at TJ Maxx and Ross so I really didn't spend a lot but still... I have a CM friend who is going to have a fit (quite a fashion-conscious one). She seems to love every single outfit I show up in...

That is awesome, summer dresses will be quite nice for wearing in the summer heat! Glad to see you are a smart shopper too

Wouldn't want to worry about you being all fashionable while having to go hungry while you are at WDW

I have to be smart, being in uni... not that I like it too much!

All I'm lacking is it being time to drag the big grey suitcase out of the closet and get to packing it! Still about 3 weeks away from that.

Soarin08: being 39 days out doesn't stop some people from packing (and re-packing and re-packing over and over)...

And then removing the cats and or cat hair from the suitcases, and re-packing and re-packing over and over!

That bit of data was missing, Amy, so it came off a bit harsh for the cat...
