Marx Brothers, W.C. Fields and other "face character" comedy celebrities haven't been at USO for a very long time (pre-2000 if I remember correctly). Only celebrities you can find now are Lucy and Marilyn Monroe (don't remember if she was there from the beginning like Marx Brothers, etc.). Strangely, they even have a meet and greet with Betty Boop, Popeye and Olive Oyl as face characters (???).mindflipper wrote:At Universal Studios (USO), there are characters dressed up as old Hollywood comedy stars: Marx Brothers, W.C. Also, at USO, I've never seem them come in a cart, but I have seen a cart show up to take them away to the back areas.

Are Popeye and Olive at USO - or IoA? I remember seeing both the last time I was at IoA. And yes, I am remembering those face characters from back in 1990's. I am wondering how far back LITTLEBIT was remembering that incident and if LITTLEBIT was confused with the antics of these face characters at USO?

I have never seen anything like this except for the time I was wearing a coed naked t-shirt and the waitress at the 50's prime time cafe brought out some duct tape for my shirt because it was inappropriate.

I never heard or saw anything like that in any of my many visits to WDW. I am sure, in today's day and age, that any cast members executing a trick like that would get themselves fired.
