My sons only use like were it's appropriate. I think it might be a regional thing.

I think they should either pay the money and get Patrick Stewart or may be John De Lancie (Q).

Does anyone know the name of the woman who narrated the Living Seas film before the Nemo-conversion? I would take her as a narrator over Judi Dench - but only with a better written script too...

Um, are you getting the Land and Living Seas confused? The Living Seas has the film about how it "rained and it rained...the deluge" as how the oceans were formed...

The Livings Seas narrator was Kathleen Turner and she has a wonderful voice. She's done some voice overs for Discovery and History channels.

Ummm, yeah, probably  I don't know why I always equate that phrase with the Land?!

Jeremy Irons by far. As others have already stated, his script was better, but his voice was a much better fit than Dench IMO. That's not meant as a slam toward her, just a preference for Jeremy's work as the narrator.

I've never been able to find out - no website had even a name, less confirmed it.

Kathleen Turner would be good. She has the right voice. I think I would like her better than Judi Dench. I think they got in their mind they need a british accent to narrate it now.

I was hoping someone would know who I was talking about and not assume that it's some guy having to do with tea...
No offense to Mr. Lipton, as much as I love the show, I think we would all be catching some serious zzz's!
Though wouldn't you just love to have the video of your future contain a mini interview? Of course, we couldn't safely answer one of my favorite questions...what's your favorite curse word?

Be honest, I always thought they dumped Conkrite's narration because it was causing some serious snoozefests for the riders...

So, if Brits can only do the narration from now on, what about Tom Baker?

Yeah, I'll admit that's probably true. The best part about Cronkite's version was Tomorrow's Child...

So does it strictly have to be Brits? What about Pierce Brosnan or Sean Connery? (ok, I guess I've got a 007 thing going on here... ) or Liam Neeson? Though I do really like the sound of Christian Bale's voice too...
