BIG: you're encouraging me even more to consider buying the HTC Thunderbolt instead of an iphone. Anything else you like about that phone that's a plus?

Re: Disney in the Day - Photo Tribute to Disney Daytime Magi
um...not too much else really
I got it because it can use a 4G network...no iPhone can do that right now...and it's the reason I did not get the iPhone4...because I knew it would not have 4G capabilities.
Is it a perfect phone? No. It has its quirks...but I know it will be getting Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) sometime in the next month or so...which should fix some issues and allow for video chatting as well.
Orlando will be the first time I'll be able to try out the 4G LTE network though...so we'll see how that goes. I have an app that will turn the 4G on and off to save on battery as I have heard it can suck you dry.

Hmm I honestly would hold off for a bit on the iPhone. Rumors circulating the new one are starting to trickle in and I honestly wouldn't sign a long term contract on a phone that is already one year old.
I do like that camera feature Big. I hope that could be something that can get incorporated into more camera phones or even some P&S models.

I've heard the rumors too about the iphone5 that will be able to run on the Verizon 4G LTE like the HTC Thunderbolt. I was thinking it would come out Aug/Sept in order to boost the 4th quarter sales.

iPhone 5 is not what I've been hearing. It is the iPhone 4S which is supposed to come out soon with the 5 being next year. After all, these are all just rumors so anything is possible.

Perhaps, just depends which rumors you hear. And on that note, if we wish to continue this converation, maybe we should move to an off-topic thread as we have got diverted from the main topic.

Just to get us back on topic, here are some random shots

Lego Nessie from Downtown Disney

Does anybody else love how Sleeping Beauty's dress in Castle Couture changes color from pink to blue just like in the movie? I think this is so cool. Even the stores at Disney are magical!

I love this action shot I got for Splash Mountain. I am hoping to get a nice collection of "mountain" pictures on my next trip.

Beautiful photos DisneyLizzy and BIG. I am amazed at the size of Nessie the Lego-ness monster! I have almost the same shot of Cinderella's dress too ~ but I wasn't in the store long enough to see it change colors. Next time I will have to slow down a bit
I'm looking forward to seeing your mountain collection when you get back BIG. That is a great action picture of Splash Mountain!!

The HTC EVO has an 8MP camera as well and it comes in handy when I don't have my camera with me. The zoom stinks on it though, but it's nice to have.
We haven't been to DL since we got these phones, so I don't have any Disney pictures to share...but I plan on getting some this summer.

What's interesting is that the above picture that Jacca so lovingly posted of the-bear-who-must-not-be-named was taken in 2004...what made Disney think that if he didn't catch on then, he would catch on now?

He's been around since 2004? No wonder he's smelling a bit moldy nowadays...MmeLeota wrote:What's interesting is that the above picture that Jacca so lovingly posted of the-bear-who-must-not-be-named was taken in 2004...what made Disney think that if he didn't catch on then, he would catch on now?
