the b-ball court? I am not very good. I like reading stuff, but don't know it as much as I would like to. I think the whole bball thing is in the middle-ish anyway.

The Basket Ball court is in the middle of the Matterhorn not at the top. Let's hope Ravenscroft got his facts straight :)

I'm guessing there's just a trap door and the pole with the wire that Tinkerbell flys from.

Well check out this website:
http://www.hiddenmickeys.org/Disneyland ... rhorn.html

The juicy bit is number 11. It has allot of info on the basketball court including a former Cast member. There is some contraversy over the actual location, 4th or 5th floor out of 5, in the middle of the statements but the CM confirms it is just below were tink comes out. I guess you CAN call it the middle of the mountain if you say that tink comes out of the middle too. :P Just kidding Sub, I did check out this site and I talked to several CM's about it.

Both the Disneyland and Walt Disney World Splash Mountain drops are at 47 degrees with a length of 52.5 feet, with the logs reaching 40 mph.

The Tokyo Disneyland drop is 45 degrees and is 60 feet long.

Isn't it pieces of the pirate ship that was at Skull Rock in the old version of Fantasyland?
