Favorite Yesterland Attraction?

Post by zenmondo » Jan Mon 09, 2006 12:23 pm

There is a great site, Yesterland, that showcases the attractions that are no longer in Disneyland. So I was wondering what everyone's favorite "Yesterland" Attraction was.

Mine? Adventure Thru Innerspace. Without a doubt.

The skyway was my Fav. because you could see over almost everything and it got you across the park faster than the train too.

PM, it was a very relaxing ride after a few hours of line.
I've gone full circle on my avatars.

I have to agree. When your in the heat of the day there is nothing better(except ice cream) then sitting on the TTA is WDW. So it would be great if they brought that back.

Peoplemover, Country Bear and America Sings. Yes America Sings was horribly out dated but it was a cool show and who couldnt like a merry-go-round musical review ;)

Peoplemover represent! i loved that ride. Next on the list would be the submarine voyage. yeah, things looked fake, but that was the closest to an underwater adventure i'd ever get.

Ditto. Ah, tomorrowland of the 70's.

I just noticed that every vote has been for a tomorrowland attraction. Who would think that a land based on the dreams of tomorrow would hold so much nostalgia?

I find it interesting how a ride so slow and mellow is the top vote so far. It leads me to believe that Disney doesn't listen to anybody when they make decisions.

It was basically a toss-up for me between the Peoplemover and the CBJ. CBJ ended up winning for the animatronics and music. Love the Peoplemover though and wish it were still there.

I know it's been said a million times, but it is time for the peoplemover to return!
Drop another coin in slot and I will tell you more.

Is there any reason why the People Mover couldn't return? It seems that the ADA has been the death knell for many attractions at Disneyland. Perhaps the People Mover was not accessable? I am fairly certain that is why the Skyway and the Sleeping Beauty Dioramas are gone -- they were inaccessable by wheelchair.
