Dec 2010: Mayhem Invades Disney World!!!

A bittersweet end to a great trip report, Amy... and as usual, the pics were great....
But wait... is it really over? Boilerbabe has promised to come back on and post her pics from the Dole Whip meet-up soon! I'll keep prodding her (gently), and hopefully this thread will continue to live on... until we start a new one for the next reunion (thinking positive happy thoughts... it may happen...).

Sorry Amy but just noticed this shot. Although five months old, still good to see an old RTS around as there was talk that they were going to be phased out of the fleet once all the 2010 Nova's and Gillig's were in service. Those were all running by July so I guess the RTS will live on for a bit longer!!!

It's also always great to catch two monorails in one shot. To me it's an iconic Disney movie that was caught by an alert fanatic!

Glad you liked it ~ I did take it with you in mind I was thinking it was a pretty cool set-up, even though the photo isn't that awesome to look at...unless you like Disney transportation

I have to second that. Although I still am not 100% sure of when my next trip is I started planning it in my head months ago. Things that are always fun to do are what restaurants you will eat at and what parks you could do each day. It also doesn't hurt to always maintain an assortment of the most up to date travel books from AAA and Liberty Travel!

Yep...I have been planning trips at least on a weekly basis...and this time I am finally going. So...I can attest to the fact that constantly planning theoretical upcoming trips can help you avoid the sadness.

Agreed about the weather! Will your family get to go in October if you aren't making the trip in August NaCler?

Amy: Have you and F1gment started to plan another trip in order to take advantage of those AP's before expire?

We've got the bug bad to go back. Ultimately we would love to go in January with the Boilers when they do the marathons 'n stuff, but we're not sure if that will work out. We also tend to lean toward October/November for most of our trips, so we're looking at that possibility too. I think that right now we just all need to stay in touch and see what we can come up with over the next couple of months.
