Thats funny Mind. I have to say if your not on a budget then it doesn't make a difference one way or another. The only reason we all end up here is because the love of something great. My best trip to WDW ever was years ago when I lived in FL. I took almost a month vacation and camped at the Campground. There was everything in the world available and I had a season pass that would allow me to park hop. I was in between jobs and kind of waiting for another offer. So unlike most people I go to WDW unemployed with all the money I had saved. Now that I have children and work for quite a bit less money, I hope for the day when my children will be able to experience what I had as a child. But as a parent and on the budget we have now. I don,t know when the next trip will be. But I do know that I will work extra or whatever I have to do for my children to experience what I did as a child.

What an experience that must have been to be able to camp at WDW for almost a whole month That would be awesome. I hope you are able to save the money to give your children the same sort of memories that you had

That is quite a revelation to have ~ you are lucky to have learned it while you were young and had time to make a change in your life. I am still searching for my prince, so unfortunately no, I do not have children. I am lucky enough to be surrounded by children in my current profession as a piano teacher though, so I feel like I have a little insight into what makes the little critters tick

Hmmm, it's actually kind of difficult to get plastered fast at Epcot now that I think of it. Most places don't serve hard liquor at all outside of the dining establishments (only beer, wine, and cordials), so if you went by the stuff from the counters that would be a lot of volume to consume. I'm guessing they have a policy of no strong stuff unless you're eating food, that might be something to try next time, go in and ask for just a cocktail.

The video I watched the people weren't plastered, plus they had chosen appropriate music for each country and included their young child who seemed like she was enjoying the trip around the world as well since they were also buying food or snacks. Plus they had a few cute scenes at the end, including a farting turtle

Still better than anyone above the age of 10 or so that drinks milk with dinner... that's just plain creepy. A friend of mine was doing it as part of a muscle building thing but it just looks wrong.

I know for myself it isn't about getting "plastered", although depending on other circumstances that has happened (sun exposure, lack of food, content of beverage). The real purpose, the way I see it anyway, is to enjoy nation specific beverages in a related cultural setting/atmosphere. Where else on the planet can you do that in one afternoon or evening?!?

I suppose when you look at it that way, exposure to the different cultures and specialty drinks, the cost seems more reasonable - no airfare, rail passes, visa stamps, or passports required!
