I have to wonder, with this many posts, how many points do you have? Heheh

I would guess somewhere in the 80K+ area...I have around 42K and mindflipper is far more talkative than I

Certainly depends on the day ... but what I like about requesting a long track is that sometimes I'll request something shorter, then have to leave my office and dang it if I don't miss what I requested. But the longer tracks I don't miss as much of if I do have to step out of the office.

I never thought to play as many shorter tracks as I can on the weekend but that would indeed be a great time to do so. A little SR while cleaning the house or something, that'll be my weekend

Same here ... first thing I do when i get in is take a look at the que to see how long it is or what I might want to listen to...if it's too long or I don't make it in earlier then I'll just enjoy what's in the que.

What I used to do when I had a regular 9-5 job was when I got up to get ready was to see if the queue was up to about the time I was going to get into work. If It was, then I would go ahead and request something to play about 9:15 to give me time to get my computer on, get some coffee and get ready for the day. That way I would often have a great Disney start to the day/week.
I like my job, but working retail can be a pain. I kinda miss a normal 9-5, M-F job with weekends off. *sigh* Pining for the good ole days,

Well, of all the jobs I have had in my life, all but only 2 or 3 have been retail, so I am used to it. I do like my job, but I am worried, a lot of people are leaving.. and that concerns me. they aren't being fires, they are quitting for better jobs. And I worry about who they might bring in. Will they know enough? Will they work well with the rest of us? etc.

You might want to check a little behind the scenes too. When people start leaving in droves, they might know something about the future of the company and aren't willing to share that info so they have a better chance of finding a new job.

Yeah, I understand what you mean , but this is a large retail corporation, not just some little mom and pop store. Trust me, with the way that people talk in this store, I would know if something is up. And besides, it isn't in the whole store, it is just our department. We are so small that when 2 people leave it makes a very big impact.
