RIVERHEAD, N.Y. -- Authorities in New York say a Massachusetts man is accused of stealing Boston Red Sox memorabilia from Fenway Park.

Suffolk County District Attorney Thomas Spota says the suspect, [kcarts], has been charged with criminal possession of stolen property that was taken during a burglary at the Boston ballpark. It was not immediately clear why the arrest happened on New York's Long Island.

Investigators recovered a home plate, Red Sox uniforms, a first base glove used by Kevin Youkilis, cleats worn by second baseman Dustin Pedroia and other team property.

It wasn't immediately clear if [kcarts] had a lawyer [although he is currently in negotiations with momeja]. He was arrested May 4.

On Monday, a longtime clubhouse manager for the New York Mets was charged with stealing team property valued at more than $2.3 million.

They got me. This is acting as my one phone call. Jacca, will you bail me out? :P

Despite the fact I have a pair of bleacher seats from the ballpark, I obtained them legally. Or at least the person who bought them for me assures me they were obtained legally.

Did you see a picture of this guy? He looks like he's 13.

I'll bail you out, but I have this really good "OLD" bridge the goes from Brooklyn to Manhattan. I just need to get rid of it, I hate to part with. I'm in a position where I need the cash right now. We can work out the details once you retain ownership from me. It's never had a toll on it and it could be a "REAL" money maker!!

Hmm is that the Williamsburg or Manhattan Bridge. Both are over 100 years old and carry no toll. I don't recall any other bridges that link BROOKLYN and Manhattan. ;) :D

Proud that my Mets have won a couple on the road against the Rockies. Good to get a little revenge after what Tulowitzki did at Citi Field.

That stinks. At least they're on Fox and ESPN the next two nights. Gives a little bit to get that straightened out.

Still disgusted about that Mets game yesterday. An 8 run inning to the yankees without ever giving up a big hit. Yanks were extremely lucky to get those bounces and spots.

Haha not a stupid question. He had a blast even though the Cubs lost. It was really a surprise because he had no idea what they were doing until they got to the T station and my husband gave him the tickets.
Because my husband was wearing Red Sox clothes (of course) and my son had his Cubs hat on people kept asking my husband "How did that happen?"
