When we go in January, we always bring our "Disney jackets," basically zippered hooded sweatshirts that are great for layering. You might also want to throw in a pair of longjohns if you're planning to go to the spectacles at night. I've always found the nights can be pretty nippy, and it's nice to have an extra layer of warmth.

Great time to go, though. Light crowds mean lots of fun. :goofy_bounce:

Convertible pants are nice if you have them. Start out with the pants in the morning when it is chilly, zip off the legs to make them into shorts during the day, and then zip the legs back on in the evening.

Disney in December. Perfect is all I can say. I wish you the best trip. Tip #1 the left line is always faster as far as the lines go. For some reason people always migrate right. Tip #2 if this is your 1st visit during the holiday season. Make sure you check out a couple of the resorts as well, they tend to really decorate well.

As many have said, I would definitely try to explore as many of the resorts as possible. They all tend to decorate differently and are something to see. Secondly, you should pack for a varied climate. From what I've heard from others is one day it could be kind of warm and the next day could be cold.

Your dates seem to be almost perfect as most kids are still in school and colleges are going into finals. It should be that small lull between thanksgiving and christmas that you hit.

Bring shorts, jeans, short sleeve shorts and jackets, flip flops and tennis shoes, etc... You never know what the weather is gonna be like. You could be nice and comfy all day but then chilly at night or both, etc.
