Mansion must be crying in his Live Oak Pilz. Hamilton out 8 weeks with a broken arm.
Meanwhile the Red Sox and Rays are meeting in the first game between 2-8 teams since 1918.

Re: Basaeball Smack Talk
The Mets finally won a game on Sunday. It had been nearly a week since I was last able to say that. The season is still young, but it is going to be a long one.

Dear Mr. Selig,
What can we do about the Red Sox schedule so that they play the Angels 162 times a year?
Sincerely,
Red Sox Fans

Re: Basaeball Smack Talk
Mets look like they are starting to pull something together. Despite losing the series to San Fran, the pitching wasn't bad and for the most part the bats were awake (except against Lincecum).

Re: Basaeball Smack Talk
Yay! We actually won! So that would be 161 games for you guys...
(btw, I like the idea of 11-0
)
EDIT: So I had no clue it was a day game yesterday. I was very confused (not hard to do
) as to why you said 11-0...I learned about it when I got home. Wow! So that means 160 games ha ha!!!! The part that shocked me most was that it was Lackey. Made me proud!
Go Angels!!!
(Now we get to go home and play the tribe...apparently they are off to an amazing start this year)

Uh-oh... kcarts... do you care to comment on this??? This story is circulating ESPN.com right now.
RIVERHEAD, N.Y. -- Authorities in New York say a Massachusetts man is accused of stealing Boston Red Sox memorabilia from Fenway Park.
Suffolk County District Attorney Thomas Spota says the suspect, [kcarts], has been charged with criminal possession of stolen property that was taken during a burglary at the Boston ballpark. It was not immediately clear why the arrest happened on New York's Long Island.
Investigators recovered a home plate, Red Sox uniforms, a first base glove used by Kevin Youkilis, cleats worn by second baseman Dustin Pedroia and other team property.
It wasn't immediately clear if [kcarts] had a lawyer [although he is currently in negotiations with momeja]. He was arrested May 4.
On Monday, a longtime clubhouse manager for the New York Mets was charged with stealing team property valued at more than $2.3 million.
