If you look at the maquette for the ride the exterior will look like the old one (other than paint job) but they may have had to build new ones since the mechanisim isn't the same. Almost like how they replaced the track for space mountain.

In honor of one of the geekiest holidays I know of (and that I actually don't mind) and our continued excitement while we await the launch of the new Star Tours, I just would like to say....

What a birthday to have! Hope he's a SW fan...

Hmmmm, those hard hats could be your "key" to get into certain areas. With one of those hard hats you achieve the Star Trek mission: to boldly go where no one has gone before...

I remember someone going into other closed off sections of the parks and security is really lax. As long as you dress like you're there to work they probably won't notice.

All I need is a point of entry. The easiest one to get into, actually, is the HMH overlay install/removal, since the workers need to get in and out of the queue area they leave the side gate open/unlocked and usually uncovered.

Nah, I'm much more the "plant evidence" rather than "sit and wait" kind of guy when it comes to getting people in trouble.
They probably won't change anything because a closed door is magically powerful. You can walk by many of them without ever trying to open them (good way to meet neighbors btw), a shocking number of doors all over the place are left unlocked and security doesn't watch them that close.
