From an engineering standpoint-Duck feet are very efficient-especially in a wet or non-solid environment. So if a droid with "Duck feet", was to investigate a world in which all the in habitants were southern animals singing on a Riverboat-he would feel right at home and probably sing along....if he knew the words.

Here's a photo I found for you from DL showing the duck feet on the droid....

Here is the accompanying copy...
Star Tours: Along the Star Tours queue, a G2 repair droid speaks to boarding passengers while trying to fix a broken down R5 astromech. The web-footed G2 is also named the Goose-Droid, because it is actually a stripped down Audio-Animatronic gander. Before finding a home at Star Tours, the G2 was once a part of the America Sings attraction, a member of the singing goose quartet.

Note: Other geese from the quartet have gotten to keep their beaks and feathers. They still sing, as part of the steamboat ensemble inside Critter Country's Splash Mountain.

Wow, that is a great picture. Thanks. That is funny. I feel bad that I never actually noticed that before. I hope they keep them in so I can see them.

Update: New paint scheme for the outside of the building. Notice the Endor tree trunks and AT-AT (giant robot camel for those non-Star Wars nerds) are still there.

Which part? The new paint color or the fact that they didn't take down the Endor part of the outside?

That was a sarcastic, underwhelmed (hence its size) "wow". All they've done to the exterior was....paint. Nothing else. Probably spent more money on putting up the barricades surrounding the building...

Well, I wouldn't hold too much hope out on the inteirors either, other than a paint job (not sure what they do at DHS), possibly updated figures (and scripts), and new display devices I don't expect much since it is supposed to be a spaceport after all.

Maybe they will do something else to it before the premiere? It does look a little underwhelming in terms of changes

I'm expecting at WDW the most changes will be to the ride and not to the queue nor exterior.

Same here at DLR, there isn't much you can do to the queue that would be worthwhile other than slight tech updates. This was a "Refresh" rather than a new ride so they didn't gut the place.

Still, an updated ride is better than nothing at all...hopefully....

Don't worry, the fans of the classic will hate it since it uses CG rather than the original film's models. :D

Nah, I don't think so; CG was used in the second set of films, the upgraded FX in the re-released first set of films, and in all the Clone War cartoons. By now, all those fans are really big into CG...

So we can assume that our "ride vehicle" will be the same as before? Just saying that because we get to see it as R2D2 and C3PO are working on one in the queue.

There's no official word if the interior queue will be changing or not. The only change to the exterior and exterior queue is painting the building from beige to gray. Not much change to the exterior. One might assume the same applies to the interior queue with C3PO and R2 D2, but no one knows yet for certain. My guess is the Star Tours shuttles, interior and exterior, won't change (given how the appearance of them in the promotional videos of ST2 has the shuttle looking no different than shuttle exterior in the original ride).
