Yes, this game does take a long time. It goes quicker at the beginning because usually a few things are eliminated pretty quickly, but near the end it's a lot of back and forth like this as people defend their favorites. The game stops when it's narrowed down to three, because it'd be pretty much impossible to get it down to one.
