I had my thrice yearly dilemma this afternoon. The former Whalers played the B's. I always go in to those games telling myself I'm going to pull for the B's and then end up rooting for the Canes. I just can't get it out of system!

Alright... time to brush the dust off of this thread and get some HOCKEY trash talkin' started again.

I WON'T start since I have little faith in my team for the playoffs, but I'd like to see it from others!

Len - I hate that we get your blue shirts in the 1st round. It could be an early exit again for us this year as you guys have owned us the last 3 games. Outscored us 15-1 I believe.

Remember though, it's a whole new season once the puck drops. I am hoping that we can build upon the season experience. It was just a great thing to have us make the playoffs after the massive disappointment last year.

We had a good run last year just pipped at the post so I suppose that doesn't bode well for this year although they are playing well.

We actually have not been too bad down the stretch. 3 of the last 4 losses in the final 16 games came at the hands of the Thrashers, Sabers, and Islanders. We beat the Flyers and Bruins (twice) coming down the stretch. I'm really hoping for a great series. We also looked really good in the season finale against the Devils. Lots of men to the net.

I have just checked the Rangers site to see how they got on, I am so sorry that they could not have held out for game six Len but do you get a refund on your ticket?

Flyers are playing tonight and with the series sitting the way it is we could go the same way. As the match is 3PM Eastern it means we can listen in as it will only be 8PM here. Still it's not all over yet so:_

I just received the email from Ticketmaster that the event was canceled and I will be receiving a full refund.

kcarts: Bruins seem to be having luck in OT, but don't discount the Canadians yet. They are a pesky team that will keep fighting.

Whew!!!! We made it to fight another day at home let's hope that is an advantage. Glad your going to get your money back Len. Going to scuttle of now to see how the Bruins are doing.

Checked that out Kcarts your looking good however will two matches in two days not take their toll, I suppose it is the same for both teams though.
Checked on the Black Hawks as well they are in the same boat as us.

That will be interesting if the B's/Habs series goes seven. Unusual to have back to back nights in the playoffs. Game six should really be tonight. However, Lady Gag(a) is playing the Bell Centre tonight.

Lots of great hockey to be had within the next 24-36 hours. I always love game 7s as it is go on or go home. Teams will play their hearts out for the win.

It was a great night of hockey last night. Montreal forces the game 7 and the Blackhawks came oh so close to being the fourth team in history to come back from a 3-0 deficit and win it in 7. Besides my Rangers and the Coyotes, it has been an amazing playoffs thus far. Lots of OT and physical play.
